Secret Sevens charity 2014

I was fortunate enough to be involved in this years Secret Sevens event to helps raise money for the Warchild charity.

Secret Sevens take 7 tracks from 7 of the best-known musicians around and press each one 100 times to 7″ vinyl. They then invite creatives from around the world to interpret the tracks in their own style, resulting in a one-of-a-kind sleeve for every 7”. This year included works from Paul Smith, the Chapman brothers and D Face to name a few.

To make things easier, I selected a track at random and ended up with Team by Lorde. I made a sleeve based on a classic American varsity jacket complete with blue leather, flurry college type and complete with a small ‘team’ badge that matched the colour scheme, letter and number. The Artists name and track title is not aloud to feature on the artwork anywhere as this remains a secret until the album has been purchased.

Thanks to Joseph Nigoghossian (Braken) for helping me stitch together the sleeve.
